Dunscaith Castle, across a loch on Skye from the Cuillin.
The castle traded hands back and forth between the MacDonalds and the McLeods over the centuries, but the site is best known as the much earlier eponymous fortress of the warrior woman Scathach in the Ulster Cycle, where its name translates as Fortress of Shadows.
